Whitney Capps
Whitney has had the privilege of serving with Proverbs 31, LifeWay Women and Women of Joy in addition to countless local churches across the country. She has been speaking and teaching for more than 15 years.
What she knows and loves about God's Word, however, didn't come from a formal seminary education. Whitney has committed herself to the hard work of studying God's Word for all its worth. She has spent the majority of her life under the teaching of her dad, Dr. Alan Posey.
Whitney's vision for Simple Seminary is that every woman would haveĀ the confidence to study God's Word for herself.
Dr. Alan Posey
Dr. Alan Posey bringsĀ more than 40 years of pastoral teaching experience to the SS team. He is a faithful expositor of God's Word and is deeply committed to biblical instruction.
Dr. Posey earned aĀ DMin from Columbia Seminary and a PhD from Liberty University. He is currently an Associate Professor atĀ Luther Rice Seminary and Senior Pastor at CrossPointe Church in Oxford, GA.
Russ Greer
RussĀ leads the speaker team at SS. He has served the local church for more than twenty years in both worship and executive roles. He has a heart to see ministries succeed as they reach people with the good news of God's love.Ā
Russ earnedĀ degrees in music and ministry from Mississippi College and Liberty University. He currently serves as Executive and Worship Pastor at CrossPointe Church in Oxford, GA.Ā
